Welcome to my creative space. I'm Loz Budden, a dreamer and creative at heart. I love a good challenge. I'm passionate about stories and art. I'm creating books for young kids to ignite their love for reading.
MY VISION
My vision is to write the stories that make a kid smile and laugh and think, Wow! I need to read that again.
I have been writing for 20 years and fell quickly in love with the process of telling a story. Whether it's a true story, a weird story, a funny story, or just something that I have dreamt about (and had to get up at 3am to get it down on paper before it disappeared!) Every story is special to me.
I had the privilege of getting up on stage in front of a crowd as a stand-up comedian for 5 years and it taught me the beauty and magic of good and funny story telling. When I create a story for kids, I put everything that I've felt and learned into it. All the passion, the joy, the skill and the laughter.
Writing for kids is a dream come true.
